9th International Andros Festival 2032, July 30-August 25, 2023, Open Theater of Andros
For the 9th year, Andros welcomes the Andros International Festival from July 30th to August 25th, 2023, under the artistic direction of Pantelis Voulgaris.
The Open Theater of Chora will host some of the most significant theatrical performances and concerts of the summer, as well as artistic activities by local organizations.
Taking the stage at the Open Theater and offering unique moments to the audience, residents, and visitors of Andros will be: Manolis Mitsias, Karyofyllia Karabeti, Gregory Vallianatos, Panos Vlahos, Giorgos Emmanouil Lazaridis, Christos Grivas, Stefanos Korkolis, Maria Protopappa, Giannis Tsortekis, Giannis Stankoglou, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Dimitris Kataleifos, the children's stage by Dimitris Adamis, as well as the Music Association of Andros, the amateur theater group Alaloum, and many others.
A special feature of this year's program is the screening of short films curated by Pantelis Voulgaris under the title "Old Friends-First Images," which will take place at the Courtyard Cinema Club of Andros.
The organization of the festival is carried out by the NPO "Friends of Andros Festival," with the support of Andriots and non-sponsors, volunteers, employees, and the Municipality of Andros.
The Andros International Festival is not just an event; it is a unique experience that is worth living for those who love culture, arts, and nature.

There are many interesting proposals for participation in the Festival this year, the 9th year of the event.
We have selected a program that combines multiple criteria with the aim of creating a high-quality and appealing experience for the audience.
Several beautiful works were left out, and we hope that August could accommodate more.
In previous years, almost all significant artistic groups, great actors, musicians, and artists have performed at the stone theater.
Thanks to the Festival, Andros is no longer deprived of such performances and has entered the map of cultural summer events throughout Greece.
This year, we will once again meet for a rendezvous with good theater, music, and cinematic experiences. And, as always, there will be new events from local artistic organizations.
Always, both the collaborators and I are eager to hear the opinions of the people.
I hope that the people of Andros and the island's visitors will have wonderful evenings, rediscover joy and emotion on their faces, and hear applause for the artists on stage once again.
