The Philharmonic Orchestra of Andros’ Music Association invites you to a tribute concert that commemorates 100 years since the birth of world-renowned Greek soprano Maria Callas, on Sunday 6th August at Andros Open-Air Theatre.
The songs will be performed by the Greek National Opera’s accomplished soloists Katia Paschou (soprano) and Nikos Stefanou (tenor), following an opening speech by distinguished trumpeter Gerasimos Ioannidis, who is a former member of the Greek National Opera.

The internationally renowned and accomplished trumpeter (former member of the GNO) Gerasimos Ioannidis.
Musical direction: Dimitrios Sideris
Gerassimos Ioannidis is a Greek trumpeter with a rich musical career. He has performed in various countries and collaborated with top musicians. In addition to concerts, he has taught and participated in seminars worldwide. He is also the founder and member of the "Pindaros" Brass Quintet.

Nikos Stefanou is a renowned Greek tenor known for his performances in classical music. He has sung leading roles at the Greek National Opera and has participated in concerts across Greece and Cyprus. Trained by notable artists, he has been a permanent collaborator of the Greek National Opera since 1989.
