Chalkolimionas is very popular and crowded. The beach is sandy with soft pebbles and the water is crystal clear! In the afternoon, as the sun goes down, as if it gets lost in the sea, the view will leave you lost for words.

Location & How to get there

Chalkolimionas beach is located on the western part of Andros, in the region of Stavropeda.
It’s at a distance of 24 km from Gavrio Port, 14km from Chora and 18 km from Korthi Bay. 
In order to reach Chalkolimionas, you will have to drive to Stavropeda and once you reach the intersection, follow the signs and they will easily lead you there. There is parking space available.

The beach

Chalkolimionas beach is pretty large and its crystal clear waters and surrounding rocks make it ideal for fishing lovers and countless hours of playing. For the bigger part, the beach is organized with sunbeds from the Copper Beach bar. But, there’s plenty of room for those who would rather use their own equipment!
