Fellos Beach
Fellos Beach
Fellos beach is one of the largest and most renowned beaches of Andros island, with golden sand and emerald coloured waters. The beach is ideal for endless hours of relaxation and many many hours of playing by the seaside, as its tamarisks offer a natural shade to its visitors.
And as for those who love fishing, Fellos beach is a frequent go - to place for fishermen because of its proximity to two other small, secluded -hard to reach from the shore- beaches named Selki and Kourtali.
Location & How to get there
Fellos beach is located on the northwestern part of Andros, in the Village of Fellos. At just a 4 km distance from Gavrio Port, very easily accessible with an asphaltus road leading to it, it’s one of the most famous and crowded beaches of the island. When at Gavrio Port, take the road to Fellos and then towards Ano Fellos and the signs will lead you to your destination!
The beach
Fellos beach is quite large but there are no beach bars or sunbeds present. It’s perfect for families and people who want to get off the grid and relax for a few hours. And the best part: there is a traditional tavern catering the needs of those who want some food or drinks to enjoy at the beach or amazing meals for those who want to taste the island’s gastronomy.
