Lydi beach is one of the most hard to reach beaches in Andros, so it’s also one of the most secluded ones as well; Even though it’s in close proximity to Chora. Its waters are crystal clean and deep. Its coast is mostly covered with big pebbles and long plates. There are no trees, so there’s no natural shade either. Lydi is ideal for those looking for a day at the beach and away from people. Visitors should be very careful when it's windy.

Location & How to get there

Lydi is located in the wider area of Chora, in a small settlement between Paraporti and the helipad. It’s fairly hard to reach. Lydi beach is 35 km away from Gavrio, 27 km from Batsi and 18 km from Korthi.
