Neimporio Beach

Neimporio beach is one of the most popular because it’s ideal for families with kids. The waters are shallow and crystal - clear. The beach is sandy and a lot of sunbeds are available. It is split in half by Tourlos Rock. Neimporio is located ideally just a few meters away from Chora’s busiest road and is protected by the winds in August. Most importantly, though, it's renowned for its amazing views: the visitors get to swim right across the church of Agia Thalassini, the Unknown Sailor square and Tourlitis lighthouse.

Location & How to get there

Neimporio beach is located on the eastern part of the island, in Chora. You can access the beach on foot or by car, following the road by the beach towards Stenies. Neimporio is at a 33 km distance from Gavrio, 25 km from Batsi and 22 km from Korthi.
