The beach

Piso Gialia beach is considered to be one of the most popular beaches in Andros. Jet skis, boats, music and relaxation: these are the words that come to mind when thinking of Piso Gialia. The waters are perfectly clean and blue, while its sand is fine and golden. The beach is surrounded by very high rocks, ideal for those who love diving!
Piso Gialia is organized for the better part, with a beach bar and sunbeds, but there’s also a big enough part that is still plain nature.

Location & How to get there

Piso Gialia is located on the eastern part of the island, right after Chora, at the village of Stenies. Just a few kilometers further from Empros Gialia, follow the stairs towards Saint Fotini church. You will then have to get down a significant number of stairs, which might be a bit tiring.
But, the route and the views will make up for the trouble! The beach is at a 36 km distance from Gavrio Port, 29 km from Batsi and 25 km from Korthi Bay.
