Secluded Serenity at Touchstone House: Unwind in an 18th Century Farmhouse

Touchstone House is an 18th century farmhouse located in the historically preserved village of Livadia in Andros, a cluster of century-old homes and farms. It is just 10 minutes from the buzzing Andros Town and Paraporti Beach. Nestled in the verdant and gently tiered foothills, among cypress and olive trees, the house is 2 kilometers far from both the beach and the well-preserved town, with its marble streets and exquisite mansions, elegant restaurants and taverns, open-air cafes and fine shops.

This private space is moody, dramatic and dominated by a giant rock. It features a loft bedroom,  living room and bespoke  couches that clasp together, providing extra sleep areas. It has a fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom.

The main house is large and airy. It is the brightest of the three spaces. It has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, a double bed private area and a large sleeper couch in the living room. The furniture is custom-made and cutting edge.
The Melou Studio

The Melou Studio

Is a vaulted stone bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. It was converted from the original smoke house, it is private, perfect for cocooning and overlooks the pool. Bear in mind that there are no cooking facilities in the Melou.

Touchstone House was owned by the Greek actress, Irini Papa. The recent change in ownership brought with it a new vision and the creative collaboration of Architect, Elina Loukos and Melia Tataki. Touchstone House won first prize at the Greek Architecture Awards 2022 for its unique design. Its elegant and stylish approach to interiors redefines the concept of Traditional Greek Chic: modern, minimal and comfortable with very high quality features and amenities. The property is large, with numerous seating areas, a swimming pool, patios and alcoves, a hammock and an outdoor kitchen.
